Hendrik brings more than 25 years of airport planning experience, with expertise in feasibility studies, terminal and master planning, capital investment planning, and airport transactions. Since joining Ricondo, he has contributed to large-scale airport development programs around the world, helping clients navigate complex planning challenges while balancing operational needs, stakeholder interests, and long-term investment strategies. Hendrik has a deep understanding of the planning factors that shape airport master plans and terminal facilities, including capacity requirements and the broader economic frameworks in which airports operate. In addition to his consulting work, he is an active contributor to the aviation industry, regularly speaking at conferences and supporting the development of key industry guidance, including the International Air Transport Association’s Airport Development Reference Manual (10th edition) and the International Civil Aviation Organization’s Airport Planning Manual.
