With over 20 years of experience in transportation planning, project management, and aviation research, Max Kiesling has extensive experience in airport facility planning having led the preparation of multiple airport master plans and a wide variety of on-call facility planning assignments. Representative airports include Denver International, El Paso International, Ellington, Laredo International, San Antonio International, and William P. Hobby Airports, as well as George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Dallas Love Field. He has led assignments that range from airport master plans to major airfield improvements, international terminal expansion, air cargo facility planning, spaceport planning, nonaeronautical land use planning, and off-airport image renewal. Max also has significant experience in transportation research. His doctoral research focused on transportation logistics and air cargo distribution, and he continues to research and serve on two project review panels with the Airport Cooperative Research Program (Guidelines for Air Cargo Facilities Planning and Development and Commercial Spaceport Noise and Sonic Boom). In addition to his airport and transportation planning experience, Max has had responsibility for a large-scale capital development program that included the rebranding of more than 1,000 wholesale stores across the United States. Management of the program included extensive consensus-building among stakeholders, contractor management, construction monitoring, and quality control.
