With Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport as one of the fastest-growing airports in the country, the Broward County Aviation Department (BCAD) needs a one-stop partner to quickly and expertly address all its aviation consulting needs. Whether it’s to conduct feasibility studies for capital improvement plans or to ensure expanding operations don’t affect aircraft operations, Ricondo has been proud to serve as the on-call consultant for the BCAD since 2015.

North Runway Obstruction Mitigation Program, where Ricondo identified more than 700 vegetation obstructions that could affect terminal airspace at FLL
Port Everglades expansion evaluation, ensuring neighboring Port Everglades development would not have an adverse impact on FLL aircraft operations
Advance planning for new 5-Gate Terminal, which includes adding five new narrowbody gates and reconfiguring the terminal apron to generate eight additional aircraft parking spots at FLL
