The GSA environmental planning services to be provided by Ricondo & Associates, Inc. (R&A) draw upon a unique blend of talents that allows our staff not only to perform the required technical analyses, but also to assist clients in the federal and state permitting and approval processes. Often during the permitting and approval processes, important airport improvement programs become mired in issues that significantly delay, and increase the cost of, project implementation.
For each project, the significant airport planning experience of R&A staff ensures that the tasks are clearly defined, underlying assumptions reflect the most current conditions, documentation is in accordance with National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) requirements and any other applicable state and local regulations, and the documentation can be expeditiously processed by the Federal Aviation Administration and state agencies.
R&A’s experience working with the Federal Aviation Administration and airport operators on major airport projects across the United States makes us well-qualified to develop solutions to complex environmental issues.
